Women and the young lead the charge to join QIA online

Welcome to our April newsletter, where we share with you news of our new Facebook group, which has proved to be a big draw for  young members, as well as attracting a large amount of women members. Facebook deleted our page in the lead-up to St Patrick’s Day, as reported here on our website previously, and we set up a new group for friends and supporters of the QIA. It has been a bigger success than we expected, with 432 people signing up in the first day alone. A vast majority of the membership are women. Our Public Relations Officer Mary Allen has been revolutionising how we reach old and new members, through our renewed newsletter, updated website and through social media channels.…
