Captain O’Carroll’s relatives travel from America for QIA commemoration

We have a wonderful news update about our commemoration of Captain Daniel O’Carroll which will be held during our Irish Tour of South Brisbane Cemetery this Sunday, 23rd March 2025. Captain O’Carroll’s relatives will be travelling across the world to join us! They include his relatives John P Waters, who is Clinical Associate Professor at New York University, John’s niece, Nora Cusanelli, John’s cousin Sean O’Carroll and one or more of Sean’s children. The Centenary Commemoration of Captain O’Carroll will be held as a part of the Cemetery Tour. There will be a talk on Captain O’Carroll’s contribution to the Cause of Irish Freedom, followed by a playing of “The Valley of Knockanure” in his honour.…
