The bar and dining will be available on the ground floor both before and after the meeting.

2.    TIGH GAELACH LADIES’ DINING CLUB –

The Tigh Gaelach Dining Club celebrate a long history of enjoying good food, wine, and wonderful company.  Our inaugural dinner was held in June 1987 and was organised by very active female members of the Queensland Irish Association.

We meet at 7:00 pm on the last Wednesday of the month between February and November at Mick O’Malleys Irish Pub, 171-209 Queen Street, Brisbane.  Our ladies enjoy pre-dinner champagne, an interesting and varied two course meal with wine, beer or soft drink throughout.  We have monthly raffles with great prizes.  Dinners cost $45 and membership is $5 per year.

4.    SPEECHES FROM THE DOCK – Wednesday 28 November 2018

The Literature & History Sub-Committee have organised an event featuring speeches made by significant people in Irish history from the dock as they faced charges in court. Two of these people have a Queensland connection.

It will be held in the Banco Court of the Supreme Court of Queensland – Level 3 425 George St. Brisbane commencing at 5:30pm on Wednesday 28 November 2018.

Admission is Free and is by Ticket Only for security reasons.  Seating is limited so a maximum of 4 seats may be booked by any one person. If you book a ticket and are unable to attend, please log back in and use the Return Ticket Facility so someone else is able to use the ticket. See below for booking details.
