QIA 125 – A Hundred Thousand Welcomes
2023 will mark the 125th anniversary of the foundation of the Queensland Irish Association. To honour this significant milestone, the QIA has commissioned Rodney Sullivan and Robin Sullivan – two distinguished historians, to author a history of the first 125 years of the Association.
The book is titled – “A Hundred Thousand Welcomes: The History of the Queensland Irish Association”. It is currently at the printing stage with Boolarong Press in Brisbane. The paperback edition will have a recommended retail price of $34.99. The QIA has been able to arrange for Christmas pre-publication orders to be made to QIA members for delivery in late February 2023. An order form is here.
