Here is your QIA Newsletter for June. We had a big few days recently, with our successful lunch at Coorparoo RSL on Saturday, big thank you to Mavis Williams for organising, and a very well attended Bloomsday celebration in Queen Street Mall.

We had many of our Members come along dressed up – men in hats and blazers and tweed, women in full Bloomsday regalia topped off with flowery hats, and we are so thankful to you all for making such an effort. It really made a spectacular show on the Mall, and so many people stopped to take photographs and marvel at the style. Thank you to Tom Kimmet and the Queensland Irish Association Pipe Band for a great performance, to our wonderful readers for bringing Ulysses to life, and, of course, to our History and Culture Committee for all your work.
