In this edition, we feature photographs from our visit to O’Donovan Library at Queensland Parliament House, and we offer our Members the opportunity to become QIA’s Honorary Librarian (and Assistants).

We preview the Irish Film Festival Australia, which is sponsored by QIA and we hope to see many of our members attending a vast and exciting programme of Irish films.

We have several upcoming events, including our Samhain/Halloween Ghost Tour on November 5 (now sold out), our AGM on November 14, and our Christmas Party on December 12.

We look forward to debuting our new QIA marquee at the Brisbane Celtic Festival on October 11.
