The First monthly dinner was held in June 1987, organised by Lady Members of the Irish Club! We are proud that these dinners are still held on the last Wednesday of the month and several of the inaugural members attend our monthly dinners in the Shamrock Room. – What a lovely venue to hold our dinners, enjoy the wine, food and company. Cost is $35.00 per person.
During the year we have our traditional monthly dinners especially themed for:
Australia Day – Aussie tucker with Aussie Poems read – perhaps some Aussie music? St Patrick’s Day – Irish Menu with Irish Music – we hold our dinner on the last Wednesday of the month – but the celebrations are great? ANZAC Day – We invite a guest speaker from the Australian Defence Force or a Representative from one of the Returned Serviceman Groups November Dinner – This Dinner is the last one of the Year so it is special – Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings and “Secret Santa” = the Ladies have a Fun night.
Guest speakers are invited for other months – but there is nothing like a good evening of “Craic” a Great dinner and friendship. Please come and join the members of the Tigh Gaelach Ladies Gourmet Club in the Shamrock Room on the last Wednesday of each month.
Each month a gift of a Rose is presented to our members whose birthday is celebrated during the month.

We have a Welfare Officer who looks after our members, a Secretary who prepares a monthly newsletter and a Raffle Buyer to arrange the monthly Dinner raffles.
The Irish Club’s Chef provides interesting and varied menus for the dinners – 2 course meal, with pre-dinner champagne and wine, soft drink or beer during the meal, tea and coffee.

Bookings for dinners Please telephone the Club direct on 3221 5699 by 5:00pm cob on the Friday prior to the dinner and advise the Receptionist that you wish to book for the next Tigh Gaelach Gourmet Dinner.
